In addition to the association’s administration, the organizational structure of the association includes a strategy commission, an advisory board and a public relations department.
The strategy commission develops appropriate strategic guidelines for addressing and solving the problems identified by the advisory board.
The advisory board is composed of representatives from regional migratory-fish-projects and active experts. All river basins in Germany are represented on the advisory board.
The public relations department develops suitable concepts to raise awareness of the protection and reintroduction of salmon and other migratory fish among the general public.
This is also intended to create the financial basis for the preparation and implementation of the priority projects that the association wants to promote.
